Box Office: Dhadak continues to be LOVED in its second week!
Ishaan Khatter & Janhvi Kapoor’s debut film as a pair, Dhadak, saw the light of day on the 20th of last month. The film in question is helmed by Shashank Khaitan of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya and Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya fame. Although the film has received mixed reviews as many of the critics have directly compared the latest Dharma production to its original counterpart, which is Nagraj Manjule’s Marathi Blockbuster Sairat, the Shashank Khaitan directorial continued to bring in an impressive amount of cash on its second week at the theatres.
During Dhadak’s Week#2 at the Indian ticket counters, it managed to rake in a whopping amount of 17.61 crores, which means that the film now stands on a total of 69.16 crores, which is fairly impressive since last week saw the release of the much awaited Tom Cruise-starrer, Mission Impossible: Fallout.
But now, we are curious to see as to how the film performs in the company of three other releases that saw the light of day today, namely Fanney Khan, Karwaan and Mulk!
