Shah Rukh Khan is turning a poet, no not in real life but for his next flick. SRK will be essaying Sahir Ludhianvi for Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s magnum opus, which is going to be a biopic of the Hindi/Urdu poet. However Bhansali will be seen donning the producer’s hat this time and a new director, Jasmeet Reen has been roped in to direct the film.
SRK seems to be in an experimental mood while choosing his characters. He played a crazy fan in ‘Fan,’ while in ‘Raees’ he will be seen as a bootlegger, based in Gujarat, which is a dry state. And now he decides to essay a poet! (And we can’t wait to see him in the role of a poet!)
SRK has earlier worked with Bhansali in his 2002 film ‘Devdas’, which also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff.
