Another political party raises questions against ‘Padmavati’

‘Padmavati’ has recently been covered with controversies and it just doesn’t seem to stop! Recently another political party called Hindu Janajagruti Samiti asked Indian Cinema to be more cautious in not twisting historical facts in the name of cinema, “Filmmakers and actors should take lessons from the assault on Sanjay Leela BhansaliIt’s the Indians who make the film fraternity earn their money. They cannot be allowed to hurt the sentiments of people and twist the glorious past of Hindus in the name of cinema,”  said Ramesh Shinde from the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

As we all know about the heinous incident that happened with Sanjay Leela Bhansali being assaulted by the activists who belonged to the Rajput Organisation at Jaigarh Fort in Rajasthan.

Mr. Shinde also mentioned that people in Mathura have objected to the Script of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Toilet-Ek Prem Katha’ as it belittles the magnificent tradition of the holy city. The censor board needs to take action against these scripts which are tearing off human sentiments. It is also seen that any further movie that will be made having mythology as its base needs to be discussed in detail with the community and should be given in writing that nothing wrong will be shown in the name of historical facts in Indian cinema.

Indian Cinema seems to be in danger at the cost of so many aspects – at this point we just hope SLB’s Padmavati has a smooth release!
