Akshay Kumar is now the Ambassador of Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial Foundation!

From fighting against terrorism in Baby to narrating the story of a man who took up the cause of menstrual hygiene in Pad Man, Akshay Kumar has always stood up for social issues. The actor who has always been known to support social causes both on screen and off-screen, is now the proud Honorary Ambassador of the Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial Foundation.

Sharing his happiness, the national award winning actor took to his Twitter account and wrote:-

On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be next seen in the upcoming big budget movie 2.0; opposite Rajinikanth after the successful release of his patriotic movie Gold .The movie which is the second installment of the science fiction film Robot (2010), is likely to release on 29th November this year.
