Why was Aishwarya missing from the GQ awards?

While Amitabh Bachchan won ‘The Legend Award’ at the recent GQ Awards Night, he is in general present at award functions accompanied by Abhishek, Aishwarya and Jaya Bachchan. But, at the GQ Awards last night, Sr. Bachchan was accompanied only by his better half. We hear that Aishwarya was supposed to receive an award but gave the event a miss. Rumour has it that Aishwaya has been avoiding the media Due to the controversies that surround her upcoming flick, ‘Aee Dil Hai Mushkil’. Rumours also have it that her movie director, Karan Johar actually asked her to give the awards a miss.

Sounds like ‘Bahu Bachchan’ is having a rough time.
