How Salman Khan helped Jackie Shroff, Preity Zinta & Govinda?

Salman Khan is a man with all heart. He is always ready to help his friends in the industry and this has earned him with the reputation of the Dildaar Bhai. And this can be proven by the fact that when some of the actors in the industry hit rock-bottom and were almost finished financially, it was Salman who helped them during their bankruptcy. Here are a few names:-

1. Jackie Shroff

Someone who became a huge star right from his first film as a lead, for him to go bankrupt comes as rather shocking. Jackie Shroff, who faced tremendous success in the 80’s and early 90’s, went through a rough patch in the late 90’s and early 2000’s and started doing the kind of films most of the actors would stay away from only to earn his bread and butter. He took a loan from film producer Sajid Nadiadwala but was unable to repay, which led Sajid to initiate a legal case against him, but it was Salman who stopped him from doing the same. And now, fortunately, everything is fine with Jackie Shroff.

2. Preity Zinta

Once a star who ruled the roost with films like Kya Kehna, Koi…Mil Gaya and Kal Ho Na Ho, went out of cash when she turned producer with Ishq In Paris in 2012. Due to multiple delays and financial crunches, the film continued to get delayed and Preity was left huffed and puffed. It was again the Bhaijaan who helped her out and Preity has admitted this on many occasions. The actor even did a special song in her film.

3. Govinda

Another star of the 90’s went through a terrible phase in the early 2000’s. Govinda, who once signed 36 films in one single year, struggled for even one film after a point. He too suffered from bankruptcy as no producer and director wanted to work with him during his rough patch. It was Salman who revived his career with the 2007 comedy Partner. Govinda even said in an interview how Salman was the only one to help him in Bollywood!
