The role was the most challenging role for Amitabh and it is still the most memorable characters in his career. He even won his second National Award for the film.

Amitabh ji stunned everyone when he played a 12 year so effortless at the age of 67. Big B played the role of Auro who suffered a rare genetic disorder called progeria. Big B stunned everyone with his performance and it is regarded as one of the best characters in the history of cinema. Amitabh Bachchan received his third National Film Award for Best Actor and his fifth Filmfare Best Actor Award.

Sarkar
Ram Gopal Verma again brought the dark instance angry role of Amitabh Bachchan in the political crime thriller, Sarkar. He played the role of Subhash Nagre who was mainly referred as Sarkar. The film was inspired by the Hollywood film The Godfather and it was appreciated a lot by the critics and the audience.

In 2015 Big B came with yet another refreshing role in Piku. He played the role of grumpy father to a young girl played by Deepika Padukone. Apart from the big perfect families shown in the cinema, Piku showed the other and real side where there were fights, the difference in opinion and love at the same time. The film got Amitabh his fourth National Award for Best Actor.

Pink became the most talked about and appreciated the film of 2016. The courtroom drama gave the strong message of women empowerment in a hard-hitting way. Amitabh Bachchan gave his best performance in Pink. His dialogue ‘No’ means no and when someone says No, you stop’ made a huge impact on the society.
