BIRTHDAY SPECIAL: A look at Jacqueline Fernandez‘s BIGGEST hits

Jacqueline Fernandez, who’s celebrating her birthday today, believes in smiling even when things around her are not going according to plan most of the times, and that’s not we who are saying this but one of her Instagram posts. And given the success that she has in the Tinsel Town, she has all the reasons to grin like a Cheshire Cat.

As this Sri Lankan beauty brings in her celebrations, we take a look at her highest grossing films till date:-

1. Kick (2014)

Kick

She was paired opposite Salman Khan for the first time. Given how Bhai is the be all and the end all of his bonanzas, Kick was no exception, but Fernandez nearly stole the actor’s thunder in the song Jumme Ki Raat when she breaks into an impromptu solo piece. The film made over 214 crores at the box-office and still remains her biggest hit.

2. Race 3 (2018)

Race 3

She was Bhai’s love interest again in a film that will be remembered more for the memes than the meat, although the film had none. But thanks to the popularity of the Race franchise, Eid ka tyohaar and Salman Khan, Jacqueline was gifted with the second highest grosser as Race 3 raked in 165 crores at the ticket windows.

3. Judwaa 2 (2017)

Judwaa 2

Even though it was a remake of David Dhawan’s own hits comedy Judwaa, Varun Dhawan called it a reboot. And given how Dhawan Jr. has always hit the bulls-eye, Judwaa 2’s staggering collections didn’t come as a surprise. Both the leading ladies were mere eye candies but Jackie finally tasted success after two back-to-back failures (A Flying Jatt and A Gentleman) and the film ended its lifetime run at 138 crores.

4. Housefull 2 (2012)

Housefull 2

A sequel to a successful film, terrific or terrible, has always opened well, always will! Why should have Housefull 2 been an exception? Again not a memorable performance by the actress but 112 crores at the ticket windows man! Who cares then?

5. Housefull 3 (2016)

Housefull 3

We would like to repeat for Housefull 3 what we said for Housefull 2! This time, Jacqueline had a longer role and had to mouth English proverbs and idioms in Hindi. Result? Disaster! Box Office? 107 crores. Again, who cares?
