5 movies that will wake up the INNER PATRIOT in you!

Bollywood and patriotism go hand in hand as its one of the niche genres that brings in action and adventure, deals with undercover agents and exciting espionage activities. From Gadar: Ek Prem Khata to Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo, Anil Sharma is known for direct movies which have an undertone of nationalism and love for the country. His movies not only reignite the feeling of patriotism, but also forced people to think whether they are fulfilling their responsibilities towards the country or not.

Anil Sharma’s next venture starring his son and debutant Utkarsh Sharma alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Genius, promises to take patriotism and love of the country to a whole new level. With amazingly depicted songs and music by Himesh Reshammiya, the movie promises to take us around the country, starting from New Delhi to Vrindavan.

Apart from the Utkarsh Sharma-starrer Genius, which will hit the cinema screens coming Friday (24th August 2018) here are four other films that one must not miss out on watching during this Independence period:

  1. Gold: Inspired by true events, Gold is the story of India’s journey towards first gold medal win as an independent nation at the 1948 Olympics in London. The movie released on August 15th and has gained appreciation by critics and audience, bringing in the fever of patriotism.
