Here are the ones who would have rocked the sports industry, if not Bollywood

Bollywood comprises of talents that go beyond acting and dancing. Many of our actors and actresses are trained in sports as well. While some have started training after the start of their career, while some have left it all for films. Here are a few names who could have easily been in sports if acting never worked out for them.

  1. Deepika Padukone

Daughter of famous badminton player, Prakash Padukone, Deepika herself is a skilled badminton player. She continued to pursue a career in badminton throughout her school years and played the sport in national level until she was chosen to model and then eventually be a part of films. The rest, as we know, is history. As of now, DP is tied up with Padmavati, which, sadly, won’t be releasing this year.

Saqib Saleem, who was seen portraying a cricketer in the film “Dishoom“, always wanted to be a cricketer himself. Saqib, in fact started his career with Cricket playing for Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir. Saqib’s latest work has been Dobaara, the Indian version of the Hollywood flick Oculus and his latest short film Aamad.

John Abraham has been football lover since childhood and had dreamt of playing for the World Cup. He even was the captain of the football team in his school and college and played ‘A’ Division Football. He will be seen in the upcoming film Parmanu

Ranbir Kapoor, who is an ardent Football fan, has some great skills himself. Ranbir is also spotted on several occasions playing football with other celebrities in charity matches. he will soon be seen opposite ex-lover Katrina Kaif in Jagga Jasoos, for which the promotions are on and will have Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo.
