After all the dust has settled and the smoke has cleared, Kjo’s ADHM will be shown in cinema halls across the country.
Mahesh Bhatt who was also present at the meeting between KJo and the CM of Maharashtra said, “Karan will include a special slide in the beginning of the film, which expresses solidarity with our armed forces. He has also assured that he will donate generously to the Home Minister’s fund for the armed forces. He hasn’t declared the sum, because he doesn’t want to tom-tom it. The guild will also contribute along with him.”
Our khabri keeda tells us that the single screen cinemas have not yet agreed to show the movie. They are miffed with the fact that they haven’t been involved in any conversation between the film makers and the political parties involved. Single screen cinema owners were the first to take a stand on the Pakistani artist controversy and haven’t yet agreed to show the movie. If this continues, the movie might not be shown in single screens across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Goa and Gujarat. These states majorly contribute to the BO collections across the country but these cinemas will surely lose out to multiplexes if they do not show the movie.
Will the single screens give in or will KJo have to get involved in yet another debate?
