Padmavati puts Bollywood into CONFUSION!

Just about a few hours ago, we reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited period piece, Padmavati might FINALLY see the light of day on the 9th of February. But, you have probably heard about that already. So let us tell you as to why it was important for us to remind you of that piece of news.

This time, with respect to Padmavti’s nearly-finalized release date, our Khabri Keeda has given us a very interesting insight into what’s really going on in the trade world. Given the scale and grandeur of Padmavati, one would hardly ever consider releasing their films any time before or after it hits theatres as one will NEVER really find enough screens to run in and recover even as much as their marketing cost.

Let us give you a Date-By-Date release schedule of all the releases that are scheduled for the month of February and March next year!

9th February – Padmavati and Pari (starring Anushka Sharma)

16th February – 3 Storeys (Starring Richa Chadha and Pulkit Samrat)

23rd February – Hitchki (Rani Mukherji) and Parmanu (John Abraham)

2nd March – Drive (Starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez)

So, there are these films, plus others like the Kartik Aaryan-starrer Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety and many more.

While these line up of these releases mean that we are going to have a big basket of movies to choose from, but since a magnum opus like Padmavati is going to have a release that will be as wide as it can get, many films, even the ones with some stellar content, will either have to shift their release date by at least a month or else they will do miserably at the ticket counters.

So, what do you think? Which film would you rather see and when? Let us know!
